I wanted to do tonight was workout.
I slept like ass last night (Aaron, I'm sorry for tossing and turning all night) and by 6:15pm I was ready to crawl into bed with my Kindle.
Then, I remembered telling a friend I was going to yoga it up tonight and that same friend would probably peruse my DailyMile to see if I actually did.
So, what did I do?
I rocked some Hatha yoga in my living room AFTER I walked 30 minutes on the treadmill at a bitching incline while watching the Vampire Diaries.
Nike was really on to something with that whole "Just Do It" thang.
Now, that I'm awesome and not a lazy turd, I'm going to bed!
What makes you "Just Do It" already?
xo,
falon

Great job Falon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Suz!
DeleteNice! Sometimes accountability is the most annoyingly good thing!
ReplyDeleteGood for you. I've never tried yoga before.
ReplyDeleteI am awful at it, but I feel so good afterwards.
DeleteHaha - I am an annoyingly good thing. :) And you are awesome - way to get at it on a Monday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being annoying!
DeleteI'm glad that Daily Mile got you moving. I just joined a few days ago, so I'm not sure that my 3 followers (is that what they're called on Daily Mile?) would be enough to motivate me! :)
ReplyDeleteI need to follow you so I can irritate you into working out!
DeleteSweet! Glad I didn't tell anyone I was working out tonight :) ps. Do own your own treadmill?
ReplyDeleteI do! We got it last year for Christmas. Worth every penny I say!
DeleteDon't worry about it. I don't think it had much to do with your restlessness, anyhow.
ReplyDeleteI was fuckin' wit da beats for so long before bed that it's all I could think about when I was trying to sleep.

Definitely posting on fb that I'm going to do something makes me do it.
ReplyDeleteNice job, you!
nice job! I think those workouts are the ones that matter even more...the ones you force yourself to do, when you sooo don't want to do it. You feel so much more accomplished at the end. I always feel more motivated to do things if I mention it on social media too. Holds me more accountable
ReplyDeleteGettin' after it...
ReplyDeleteGood job! I need the learn the different types of yoga to see if I can find one I can try that I like (and that I don't suck at). ;)
ReplyDeleteThe fetus inside of me has recently sparked my athleticism again. Okay, maybe "athleticism" isn't the right word, since biking at 1 resistance felt like hell fire to my thighs, but still... definitely getting back into it!!
ReplyDeleteMy motivation was stolen this week too. I wish I had someone checking in on me. Maybe I can get the dog to keep me motivated tonight while she's chillin on the couch. Yeah, probably not.
