I resolve to

get at least one year older in 2013.
Obviously no current plans to mature.

For now, I feel like that is where my commitments and resolutions end.

There are a lot of things I want to do, work on and work towards. Truthfully, most of them aren't fitness related. I want to maintain fitness, but this just isn't my year to worry about training calendars and PRs. I want to run for fun and of course for the health benefits, but right now I feel comfortable with my current running achievements. I have done things I was sure weren't possible for me and now I'm ready to test my resolve in other areas.

Finances, career, creative endeavors etc.

I feel like running has provided a certain amount of discipline and chutzpah to help me tackle hard shit. 2013 feels like a game changer.

My race calendar may be skimpy for the year, but I still love the crap out of running and I still plan to run the CHICAGO MARATHON with my favorite bloggers in the world come October. Wild horses couldn't drag me away from that party! 284 days to get your damn game face on. Registration opens Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at NOON (central time). It will sell out in less than a week because it is a marathon major and an awesome race!

Tell me I'll see you there!

What are your plans for 2013 in two words?!

xo,
falon

My two words would be TIGHT BOOTY. haha I am working on muscle-ing up my behind and want the booty of my dreams this year! is that crazy or weird? I should probably be focusing on more important things. Ah well. High fives to booties and meeting you in October!!!!!!!

  3. I cannot wait for Chicago!!
You summed up exactly what I've been thinking...I'm content with my PRs right now. I want to get back to that "runlove" place and am hoping to just run more for fun this year and not get caught up in how far, how fast, etc.

  4. To get a year older. Best resolution ever! I don't do resolutions, but I have a goal of teaching my dog to balance things on her head. BAM! Ok, so that's more than two words. I fail already and it's only january 2.
