Streaking & an Apple Crisp

So, Ann Freeman, a super sweet blogger that can be found here. Posted a fun challenge and she got the idea from a Runner's World article.

The challenge is so freaking simple: Run at least one mile, everyday from Thanksgiving to New Year's. Run it to keep your mind on fitness and not slack. Even though the holidays are super crazy, we ALL have 6-11 minutes a day to run one AT LEAST ONE stinking mile! So, let's do this!

Ann is even upping the ante with a little raffle giveaway between all the participants. See! I told you she was sweet! Check out her post with the rules (there aren't many) and I hope you'll consider streaking with me.

Now, onto some food porn because I feel bad that last night's blog title was soooo misleading. Tonight I whipped up our Thanksgiving dessert... my first attempt at an apple crisp.

Buddy supervises all cooking missions.

Who gave me a knife? hee hee

All done! Am I really waiting until tomorrow to see if it tastes ok?
Are you IN for the run streak? Are you at least considering it?

What dessert are you dreaming of eating tomorrow?

  4. Ohh, this might just be the challenge I need to keep me moving through the holidays!

Today's desserts... Apple pie with cinnamon crumb topping, homemade german cherry cheesecake and a chocolate silk pie.. I however am more excited about the stuffing! Here is hoping the pouch is nice to me today! LOL

  6. The streak sounds like fun but I know I wouldn't make it due to kids and work. Good luck and YUMMY on the apple crisp.

  7. In for the streak. However I did not get a fresh baked dessert today. I basically hit up a Klondike Bar.....yet I bet that Apple Crisp was way more amazing than my Klondike Bar! Need pics of empty pan!
