Happy Turkey Day!

I love turkey and being home on a Thursday and going for a leisurely run at 8am in the morning with no time contraints and I love my husband sitting across from me.

Well, the dinner is in the oven... we should be stuffing our pie holes in the next hour or so. Woot!

I got up early and took care of my virtual Turkey Trot 4 miler sponsored by the fabulously awesome Redonkulous Runner. There's still three days to play if you're interested... CLICK HERE! I don't often do virtual races and that is only because I usually get confused by the rules. However, Ashley made it an easy peasy race so I had no reason not to.

Happy Thanksgiving... here are some photos from my Turkey Trot adventure on the Sac and Fox. I didn't get a tons of smiles or waves today. WTF people? It is Thanksgiving and you don't have to work and let's be happy that the weather is beautiful!

Hee hee I couldn't think of a race number.... then I thought of this.
I seriously laughed and laughed at my cleverness.
Such a nerd. If you don't get it... I'm sorry for you. hee hee

Insert cheesy thumbs up here!

I love the barren Iowa County side.

All done. Could've been better, could've been worse, but I loved every mile!

Alright Turkey Trot done and I'm almost to turkey eating!
Also, RUN STREAK DAY ONE DONE!

Okay, I adore you guys and I hope every last one of you is surrounded by the people and food you love.

  7. I agree with you that the virtual runs are a bit confusing...I feel like such a nerd saying that! Sounds like a nice little 4 miler though! Looks quite chilly out there!
