Hair Today Gone Tomorrow

Today I rested in preparation for my long run tomorrow and I had a lot less muscle soreness than I expected. YAY!

Yes, its only 7:30pm and I'm in my robe watching Bones, but I had a great day!

So I went and got my hair did..

I love the haircut, but it is maybe not the most photogenic cut. I tried to get a nice photo of it and oy no luck.

You can see it better there, I was shopping for stuff I don't need today. (I resisted and bought nothing frivolous!) This dress ain't great, but I love the little ruffly bolero jacket. I'm a sucker for ruffly rosettes.

*The new fast food... sushi while driving, one of my many talents...

except for that splash of soy sauce on my pants.

So, anyway- today rocked because:

• The sun was out! It was a blissful 75 degrees.
• I got gas for free from a hand-me-down Casey's giftcard. Bling bling
• Darrell the shoe guy fixed the loop on a pair of my favorite slingbacks today... in 15 minutes...for free.
• My haircut got moved up an hour so I could meet my darling husband for lunch.
• I ate my favorite BBQ chopped chicken salad for dinner.
• I finally found a liquid calcium citrate supplement that I hope is reasonably palatable at Wal-Mart of all damn places.

Anyway, I don't ask for much.
Now I am going to get off my duff, clean up the house and getting packing. Going to Chicago Monday night after work. YAY I love mini vacays with Aaron.
